I'm glad you found my website where I'd like to share the results of my photography with you. Please enjoy images from Vermont and New England as well as from National Parks and other beautiful places I had the privilege to visit. Over the last few years, my style has been drifting away from capturing and presenting subjects as close to the reality as possible (classic, journalistic photography) and is evolving into the realm of what I call "photo-art". It is more about personal interpretations of the captured scene and ultimately an artistic vision.

In case you're curious, here's some background information about myself:

I was born and raised in Franconia, Germany. Although this is a beautiful place to live, I was drawn further and further away by education and profession. I ended up in Vermont, one of the New England states, by choice. As you can see in my work, I enjoy living here very much.

Photography has been one of my hobbies since my middle school days. Starting out with manual focus and manual exposure cameras, me and my equipment evolved into the age of digital SLR photography. And the digital workflow works perfectly for me. It not only gives full control of the whole process from composition to print or online publishing. More importantly, the countless and very innovative software tools available these days enable every creative freedom possible.
